Brief introduction to CBBC

Chinese Brain Bank Center (CBBC)  was founded in 2007. As of the end of 2022, the center has collected a total of more than 1900 individual brains according to a standard protocol for long-term storage and become Asia's largest human tissue bank platform. In recent years, researchers in China have published more than 50 high-quality research papers such as in PNAS、Nature Neuroscience、Nature Communications、PLoS Genetics、PLoS Bio、Genome Res and BMC Genomics, etc, using the human brain and other tissue materials provided by CBBC.
